Your Unique Selling Proposition, or USP, is what sets you apart from your competitors, and is how you can generate more business, an in turn, more sales.
When you try to be everything to everyone, you end up becoming nothing to no one. And when you are trying to come up with what makes you Unique, don’t just say “We have great service”, especially if you really don’t.
It can sometimes take some soul searching to find out what your niche is. But once you do, it opens up whole new possibilities of selling. It’s called “Riches in Niches.”
Like the Yoga studio in Portland for plus size people, or the construction company that just builds dentist offices, or the psychologist that specializes as a therapist for business owners. Those are certainly unique. And they all are very successful.
