Tips For What To Do Before A Trade Show

Do these activities and you are sure to have a good show

There are many pre-show activities that you can and should do before you attend a trade show. Some are free and others may cost you a few dollars, but in either case, they are worth it.

The first thing you will want to do is to email you customers and let them know you will be there. If it’s a national show and you have to travel to another city, send the email out at least two week before the show. If it is a local show, send one out the week before, and also the day of. If you have something to promote at the show, include it here. Also, try to run a contest to drive traffic to your booth.

Don’t forget to promote on your social media accounts the same thing. Make sure you do a post a week before and then one the day of the show.

If you have some money to spend, work with the organization that is putting on the show, and see if you can advertise in any of their eBlasts they they are sending out to the attendees. This is another great way to get people to stop by your booth.
